About Josh

Josh has extensive experience in federal and New York courts. Representing both plaintiffs and defendants, his practice has spanned the spectrum of complex commercial litigation and alternative dispute resolution, as he has litigated claims ranging from securities law and antitrust violations to common law fraud and breach of contract, from breach of fiduciary duty and accounting malpractice to human rights violations under the Alien Tort Statute. He has represented clients in a number of industries, including art auctions, banking, private equity, insurance/reinsurance, and pharmaceuticals.

 

Josh received his law degree from the UCLA School of Law in 2005, where he was an Articles Editor on the UCLA Law Review and served as an extern for the Honorable Kim McLane Wardlaw of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in Pasadena, California. After law school, Josh served two federal clerkships: first for the Honorable José A. Fusté in the District of Puerto Rico and then for the Honorable Denis R. Hurley in the Eastern District of New York. Following his clerkships, Josh spent more than six years working in general commercial litigation at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in New York City before opening his own practice on April 1, 2013.
